Dr. Murgai completed his neurology residency in India and then pursued a clinical fellowship in movement disorders at Western University in Canada. He currently holds a position as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Western University, with a specialization in movement disorders.
Dr. Murgai is skilled at managing a broad spectrum of movement disorders. He is proficient in administering botulinum toxin injections for conditions like dystonia, tremor, and spasticity using EMG and ultrasound guidance. Additionally, he has a strong interest in deep brain stimulation programming for conditions like Parkinson's disease, essential tremor and dystonia.
His research primarily focuses on motor control physiology and kinematics in movement disorders.
