Board of Directors
Lawson is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 11 Directors elected by the Members in accordance with the corporation's by-laws and the joint venture agreement. Representation allows for equal representation and alternating leadership from both hospital boards.
Operational Leadership
Operational leadership is provided by Dr. David Hill, Scientific Director, and Cory Gosnell, Interim Chief Operating Officer. Lawson's administration team supports the institute's operational leadership and works to meet the needs of research personnel, partners, collaborators and clients.
Research Executive Committee
Lawson's Scientific Director is supported by the Research Executive Committee: a team of Assistant Directors and Alternates for each research theme who help drive the institute's strategic scientific priorities forward.
Their mandate is to help foster research development within their areas of expertise through mentorship and advice to individual scientists and groups. Their focus includes new research goals and initiatives, Lawson’s profile, budgetary investment and scientist development.
