Institutional RDM Strategy

An institutional strategy is a concise and directive document, not a formal policy, an outline for how an institution will increase its capacity for effective Research Data Management (RDM) and a collaboration between various internal and external stakeholders.

The purpose of creating and establishing an Institutional Research Data Management (RDM) strategy is to foster a culture of sustainable and collaborative data stewardship and develop the capacity that supports researchers in adopting responsible RDM practices, following FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) guiding principles.

Lawson Health Research Institute recognizes that efficient research data management is an essential element of research excellence. Accordingly, Institutional Research Data Management Strategy is being developed in accordance with the Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy (Government of Canada, 2021). Once finalized, the Lawson RDM Strategy will be published here.
