Lawson Health Research Institute (Lawson) seeks applicants for the Research Chair in Human Microbiome and Probiotics administered through the St. Joseph’s Health Care London Foundation. The successful candidate will have demonstrated academic excellence based on productivity and impact in research, be an exceptional scientific leader and role model, and will advance inter-disciplinary and translational research within St. Joseph’s Health Care London. The successful applicant will be based primarily at the Grosvenor Street site of St. Joseph’s Health Care London and will provide leadership for the Canadian Centre for Human Microbiome and Probiotic Research at Lawson where current projects emphasize real-life applications. The program solidifies probiotics research in areas of relevance including: probiotics, prebiotics, fecal microbiota transplant or defined microbial consortia delivery, beneficial microbes, fermented food, microbiome including bioinformatics, metabolomics, and pharmacology.
